COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Cabrini closed out the weekend by sweep two matches at a tri-match hosted by Ursinus.
The Cavaliers defeated Washington College, 3-0 before handing host Ursinus a 3-1 setback to finish a three-day, four-match swing with a 3-1 mark to put their overall record at 10-8.
Cabrini 3, Washington College 0
The Cavaliers won the match by set scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-22.
Graduate outside hitter Hannah Dalton had ten kills and four blocks in the win, with sophomore outside hitter Sam Heenan netting nine kills and four aces.
Senior setter Melanie Cotes-Rivera had 13 assists, with graduate libero Gina Custer getting 14 digs.
Cabrini 3, Ursinus 1
Heenan led the way in the second match with 18 kills to just three errors on 41 attempts (.366 attack percentage). Dalton had 13 kills and three blocks. Junior middle blocker Allison Clarke had four blocks, a match-high for Cabrini.
Cotes-Rivera had 16 assists, with Custer netting 28 digs defensively.
Cabrini takes on Scranton Friday night, before opening Atlantic East play on Saturday with Marywood.
