Scranton upends Volleyball, 3-0

SCRANTON, Pa. – The Cabrini University women's volleyball team was defeated by Scranton on Friday night by a 3-0 score.

Set scores were 25-21, 25-23 and 25-14.

Offensively, the Cavs got 11 kills from graduate outside hitter Hannah Dalton, with senior Taylor Downing and sophomore outside hitter Sam Heenan each getting four. Downing also had three aces.

Graduate setter Lexi Conte had 12 assists, with Downing getting ten.

Graduate libero Gina Custer netted 15 digs defensively, with Dalton getting 11 and Downing having ten.

The Cavs open AEC play tomorrow against Marywood, followed by a non-conference match with Wilkes.
