ARLINGTON, VA – The Cabrini men's lacrosse team extended its current win streak to seven games tonight, as the No. 14 Cavaliers scored a 15-3 win at Marymount.
Seven Cavaliers marked the scoring column this evening, led by junior
Dillon McManus, who led the Blue and White with four goals. Classmate
Mikey Vanaman added three goals and an assist.

Jason Fridge notched one goal each.
The Cavaliers fell just shy of a season high with 12 caused turnovers, with junior
Kyle Kutyla causing a pair to lead 11 Cavaliers to mark the stat column.
Graduate student
Matt Nestler provided the backstop to the Blue and White defensive effort with 12 saves.
Cabrini built a lead five minutes into a low scoring first quarter, as Schneider and Kaut marked the scoring column in a span of 20 seconds. The Cavaliers pressured the Saints into six first quarter turnovers before a McManus goal extended the lead to 3-0 after the first quarter.
Marymount got on the board in the early minutes of the second quarter before Cabrini responded with three unanswered goals. McManus and Vanaman pushed the lead to 6-1 midway through the period.
The Saints' second goal came with 63 seconds left in the period, but senior
Jake Goss found Vanaman with just three ticks on the clock to give Cabrini a 7-2 lead at the half.
The Cavaliers extended their lead with an efficient third quarter performance, scoring five goals on just 11 shots, while holding the Saints scoreless.
Schneider and Rauner scored early in the frame before Bolton and McManus found the back of the net in the final three minutes of the quarter, pushing the Blue and White advantage to 12-2 with 15 minutes to play.
Kaut notched his second marker of the night early in the fourth, with Bolton marking eh scoring column midway through the final stanza, pushing the lead to 14-2. Following a Marymount goal, Fridge marked the scoring column to close the night's action.
The Cavaliers have little time to enjoy tonight's win, as they will play host to No. 6 York on Friday night. The opening faceoff is slated for 7pm.
