PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – With the background of the Philadelphia skyline, the Cabrini University men's and women's cross country team participated in the Philadelphia Metro Meet on Saturday at Belmont Plateau.
The men's team finished tenth out of 16 teams, featuring a mix of Division II and Division III teams running the course.
For the men, junior Anthony Pietrewicz finished 31st overall with a time of 32:23.3, followed by freshman Dave Kenney in 36th place with a time of 32:56.9.
Sophomore Zackary Donlen was third on the squad, and 40th overall, with a time of 33:15.4. Sophomre Brandon Ainscoe was 60th overall at 36:38.0, while freshman Jenrry Millan Flores was 73rd overall with a time of 47:20.1.
Sophomores Sam Debany and Bradley Beamer finished with times of 48:31.1, and 52.39.6, respectively.
For the women, sophomore Sam Frederick was the top finisher, crossing the line in 40th place with a time of 26:01.2. Junior Chloe Griffiths was 64th with a time of 36:22.1, followed by sophomore Holly Smith at 37:18.8 and sophomore Adriana Pietrewicz at 37:42.8.
