GLASSBORO, N.J. – Cabrini sophomore midfielder Adrianna Jones scored two goals for the Cavs (7-2) but second-ranked Rowan (8-0) scored four straight goals breaking open a 1-1 tie as the Profs won 5-2 in a field hockey matchup Friday night.
Jones' first goal came at 11:31 which tied the score at 1-1. The Cavs were held to just four shots on the night. She scored her second with 1:24 left in regulation on assists by junior midfielder Caroline Gallagher and freshman forward Krista Geibler.
Rowan scored the game-winning goal in the 52nd minute as Kristiina Castagnola scored her second of two goals on the night.
Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney Keith made 11 saves on the evening for Cabrini, who will be off until next Saturday till traveling to Alvernia.
