Radnor, PA - On Wednesday evening, Cabrini Field Hockey finished their season on a high note, defeating Manhattanville College 5-0.
Cabrini's first goal came midway through the first period.
Caroline Gallagher carried to the endline on the right side before taking the tight-angled shot. Her strike slipped through traffic and rolled into the cage, giving the Cavaliers the 1-0 lead.
Gallagher scored again before the end of the quarter. She carried from midfield right to left, then split the pads of Manhattanville's goalkeeper on her breakaway try.
Early in the second period, Cabrini added goal number three.
Daly Ewing played a penalty corner to
Caroline Gallagher, who punched in her third. The goal marked Gallagher's third hat trick of the season.
Minutes later, the Cavaliers scored their fourth. As
Caroline Gallagher played a foul reset in, she carried to the left side, then split four defenders with a pass that found
Leany Santana back post. Santana dove forward to lower her stick and redirect the ball into the cage.
The final score in the contest came just after the halftime break. On the play,
Caroline Gallagher drove to the right corner, then centered a pass to
Adrianna Jones. Jones used two touches to convert her head on shot.

Christina Unger's combined efforts in goal kept Manhattanville off the board.
With two assists in the match,
Caroline Gallagher tied Cabrini's single-season assist record.
