Ten Cavaliers Tally Goals at Arcadia

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Cabrini University men's lacrosse team defeated the Knights of Arcadia University on Wednesday. Ten Cavaliers tallied a goal on the night, led by Connor Herraiz with 4. Midway through their non-conference schedule, the Cavaliers sit 3-2 with a +13 goal differential. Cabrini will have a quick turnaround, as they'll travel to face Cortland on Friday afternoon.

Scoring Summary
  • Cabrini found themselves trailing 1-3 at the midpoint of the opening quarter. Arcadia's three early goals were broken up only by Connor Herraiz' first score assisted by Griffin Ganster
  • The Cavaliers responded well, as Sebastian Tobias, Mario Leone, and Dillon McManus netted goals to put them ahead 4-3 by quarter's end.
  • After Arcadia evening the score 4-4, Cabrini earned the next four, as Nate Mazurek scored twice, Mario Leone notched his second, and Griffin Ganster got on the board.
  • Inside the final minute of the half, the Knights delivered a goal to arrive at a 8-5 score at the break.
  • Defenseman Sam Kirk scored the first goal of the third quarter, followed by Zack Riegler's unassisted goal a minute later.
