Men’s Lacrosse maintains AEC streak with 18-5 win over Macs

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cabrini University men's lacrosse team wrapped up Atlantic East Conference seeding games with a road victory at Immaculata. The Cavaliers supplied at least four goals in every quarter, taking the contest by an 18-5 final. Men's lacrosse faces their toughest challenge of the season on Friday against #1 Salisbury University. The Sea Gulls sit 16-0 on the season, winning each by at least a five goal margin.

Scoring
-Connor Herraiz led all goalscorers with 4, followed by hat tricks from Nate Mazurek and Dillon McManus and a pair from Austin Bolton
-Herraiz and Griffin Ganster had 2 assists apiece, while Mazurek, Bolton, and John McCormick each had a helper.

Defensive
-Peter Hewitt earned 3 caused turnovers, as Bear Evans, Matt Williams, and Herraiz each had 1.
-John McCormick claimed 22 of 25 faceoff attempts (88%), collecting 17 ground balls. With 298 wins on 450 tries this year, the Cavaliers' specialist became Cabrini's single-season record holder in faceoff wins.
-Aside McCormick, Evans, Williams, and Hewitt each collected 4 ground balls.
-Between the pipes, Brayden Skipper made 11 saves, recorded 3 ground balls, and surrendered 5 goals.
