LANCASTER, Pa. - The Cabrini volleyball team returned to the win column Friday night, knocking off Stevenson University, 3-0, on day one of the Franklin & Marshall College Tournament. The Cavaliers have won six of their last seven matches and 14 of their first 18 overall in 2009.

The Blue & White won a marathon in game one, topping the Mustangs, 27-25, The Cavaliers dropped Stevenson with scores of 25-23 and 26-24 in sets two and three, respectively.

The Cavaliers reunited with Stevenson one year removed from meeting the Mustangs during the postseason in 2008. The Blue & White earned a 3-0 victory against Stevenson in the semifinal round of the ECAC South Region Tournament last season on November 15.

Cabrini (14-4) continues play at the Franklin & College Tournament Saturday against Lebanon Valley College at 11 a.m. The Cavaliers meet the host Diplomats at 1 p.m.
