LEXINGTON, Ken. – Cabrini University graduate outside hitter Hannah Dalton was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Region V All-Region team as an Honorable Mention selection on Thursday afternoon.
The region includes players from the Atlantic East, Centennial, MAC Commonwealth and Colonial States Athletic Conferences.
Dalton was on the Region V team in 2021, and was named an Honorable Mention All-American that year.
This season, she was named as the Atlantic East Player of the Year for the second straight year, in addition to earning her second straight first-team selection. She was named All-Atlantic East for the fourth time, earning second-team selections during the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
This season, she wrote her name in the record books as she currently holds the all-time mark in career kills with 1,368 heading into this weekend's ECAC tournament. She leads the Cavs in kills with 453, which is tops in the Atlantic East. Her .270 attack percentage is second-best in the Atlantic East, while her 290 digs are second-best on the squad. She is also second on the team in aces with 39. She is the first player in Atlantic East women's volleyball history to win back-to-back Player of the Year honors.
Cabrini will participate in the ECAC tournament this weekend.
