RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini volleyball is unbeaten in 10 matches against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent following a 3-0 win against Immaculata University Saturday morning at Nerney Field House. Prior to the start of the match, seniors Traci Beltz, Kate Conahan and Lizzie Williams were honored.

The victory is also the Cavaliers' seventh straight overall, dating back to October 7 against CSAC opponent Gwynedd-Mercy College. In fact, Cabrini has posted seven consecutive three-set wins.

Junior middle Stephanie Recklau powered the Cavaliers against the Mighty Macs, recording a team-best 11 kills on 17 attempts with just one error. As of October 18, Recklau ranked fifth nationally in attack percentage (.426).

Beltz complimented Recklau's effort on the offensive end, notching 10 kills on 20 tries. The Cabrini attack totaled a .360 hitting clip, eclipsing the .250 mark for the 13th time this season. The Cavaliers, ranked 11th nationally in team attack percentage, have hit better than .250 in six of the last seven outings.

Sophomore middle Beth Gillespie (6 kills), sophomore outside hitter Alexis Doss (5) and freshman opposite Megan Ryan (5) added the Cavaliers' offense.

Williams guided the Blue & White offense, tallying a match-best 35 assists. She also paired eight digs with five kills on 13 attempts.

Defensively, sophomore libero Courtney Abel posted a match-best 22 digs. Abel surpasses the 20-dig barrier for the seventh time in 2009.

The Cavaliers' 10-0 record against CSAC opponents is a program record. Third-year head coach Eric Schaefer has the Blue & White one win shy of matching the program's all-time record for single-season wins, which is 22 established in 2008.

Cabrini (21-6, 10-0) wraps up its regular season schedule Tuesday, October 27 at home against Marywood University. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
