RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini women's basketball team captured its second Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win in two days with an 87-44 victory at Baptist Bible College Tuesday night. The Cavaliers shot a season-best 51.7 percent from the floor en route to their 35th win against a conference opponent in the last 38 games, including the postseason.

The Cabrini attack boasted four scorers in double figures. Senior guard Alyssa Brady matched a season-high with a team-best 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 performance from the foul line.

Senior point guard Deana DiAmico tallied 15 points. DiAmico shot 6-for-10 from the floor and buried 3-of-4 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc.

DiAmico seems to be finding her shooting stroke that garnered her CSAC First Team honors in 2008-09. After shooting 28.0 percent from the floor overall in the three straight losses to open the season, she is shooting 68.8 percent in the Cavaliers' two consecutive wins versus Philadelphia Biblical University and the Defenders.

Junior guard Julie Bonomo and sophomore combo guard Laura Caron each contributed 11 points. Bonomo shot 3-for-4 from the floor, all from long range. Caron converted 4-of-5 tries from the charity stripe.

Senior forward Kasey Agostinacchio chipped in nine points and senior guard Kate Walck totaled seven points.

The Blue & White led by 30 points at halftime, 49-19. Cabrini shot 60.0 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes, including a 55.9 percent shooting performance from 3-point land.

The Cavaliers pushed its lead to a game-high 46 points with 6:07 remaining in the second half.

Joy DeLeonardis led the Baptist Bible offense with 12 points.

Cabrini out-rebounded the Defenders, 30-20. Brady and Agostinacchio led the Cavaliers' charge on the glass, each recording a team-best eight boards.

The Cavaliers defense has turned up the pressure and been consistent throughout its first five games in 2009-10, forcing its opponents into 20.4 turnovers per game. The Blue & White turned 24 Baptist Bible miscues into 28 points.

The victory extends the Cavaliers' win streak versus CSAC opponents on the road to 10 games, including the postseason.

Cabrini (2-3, 2-0) returns to the hardwood at Elizabethtown College Friday, December 11 as part of the two-day Elizabethtown College Tournament. Game time is set for 6 p.m. against the Blue Jays.
