LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the Cabrini University women's basketball team earned All-Atlantic East honors on Monday afternoon, as the 2022-23 All-Atlantic East team was released by the conference office.

The team was voted upon by the seven head coaches in the league, who nominated their own players but were not permitted to vote for their own team.

Senior Miranda Liebtag was named second-team All-Atlantic East, while Ella Gordon was named as the Atlantic East Rookie of the Year.

Liebtag, a repeat selection to the second-team, led the squad with 13.5 points per game and was second on the team in rebounding at 6.8. She led the Cavs in steals with 60, was second in assists with 68, and was third in blocks with 29. She was also tied for second in three pointers made with 34. She scored 24 points in a win over Immaculata on January 11. She played in all 28 games this season, starting 27.

Gordon was named the Rookie of the Year, marking the first time that Cabrini has received the award in women's basketball since the conference was founded in 2018. She played in all 28 games, starting 26. She averaged 6.6 points per game, sinking 34 three-pointers which was tied for second-best on the squad. Her high water mark in points came in the first-round of the Atlantic East playoffs as she scored 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting against Marywood.

Cabrini finished an even 14-14 this season, 8-4 in the Atlantic East and advanced to the championship of the Atlantic East tournament before losing to Marymount.
