RADNOR, PA – After 14 seasons, Cabrini Women's Basketball Head Coach,
Kate Pearson, has announced her resignation. Pearson will leave Cabrini University as the all-time winningest coach in program history with a 240-125 record, 5 conference championships and 5 NCAA tournament appearances.
Pearson has accepted the head coaching position at Rowan University and will begin her tenure in August. Pearson will take over a program that finished the 2022-2023 season with an NJAC Championship with an overall record of 20-9 going 13-5 in conference play. The Profs advanced to the NCAA tournament falling in the first round to Rhode Island College by a score of 67-59.

"Her impact on the lives of her student athletes is evident not only in the current players but the countless alumni she has coached. Under Pearson's leadership the Cavaliers advanced to the conference playoffs in 12 of 14 seasons including 9 conference championship appearances. The women's basketball program rose to new levels of success under Pearson with the program's first NCAA win in 2014 and a year later the first top 25 ranking. Pearson earned Coach of the Year 4 times, coached 2 All-Americans, 4 Conference Players of the Year and 35 All Conference players in addition to numerous All-Academic Honorees.
