DOVER, Del. – The Cabrini women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback Saturday night at non-conference opponent Wesley College. Junior goalkeeper Gianna Porretta stopped six shots in the outstanding defensive effort from the Cavaliers.

Senior Sabina DeGisi led Cabrini on the offensive end, recording three of the team's five shots. The Wesley offense generated 11 shots throughout the contest.

The game played scoreless until Kaitlin Barry's unassisted score at the 76:06 mark handed the hosts a lead they would never relinquish.

Samantha Hannibal notched a team-best 4 shots for the Wolverines.

Cabrini (2-2-0) remains on the road for a meeting with backyard-rival Eastern University Tuesday, September 15 at 4 p.m.
