RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini College women's soccer team was dominant in defeating the visiting Keystone College Giants 4-0 today at Edith Robb Dixon Field.  The Cavaliers have now won three of their last four games.

Cabrini controlled the match from the opening whistle, stringing passes through the midfield to streaking forwards. The Cavaliers opened the scoring in the 11th minute when senior Sammy Thompson tallied her second goal of the season.  Thompson created a shot on goal for fellow senior Kara Hinkelmon. Keystone's goalie saved Hinkelmon's shot but Thompson was there to put away the rebound.

Five minutes later, junior Alex Tralie's chip found freshman Melissa Scanzano who deposited the ball in the back of the net for her first collegiate goal.

In the game's 22nd minute, Hinkelmon added a goal to her assist. Freshman Gabby Meck found Hinkelmon alone in the middle of the Keystone goalie box. The senior volleyed the ball into the net, giving the Cavaliers a 3-0 advantage.

The Blue and White continued to apply pressure after the halftime break, outshooting the Giants 11-2.  Sophomore Lauren Pallister closed the scoring in the 87th minute with a rocket of a shot from the right side that whizzed past the keeper.

Junior Maddy Edwards, sophomore Sarah Means, and freshman Erin Gallagher combined for the Cabrini shutout.

The Cavaliers (5-4-1, 3-1 CSAC) will host Neumann University on Wednesday. The match will be part of a men's and women's soccer doubleheader.  The men will open the action at 4:00 p.m. with the ladies to follow at 6:30 p.m.
