BALTIMORE, Md. – The Cabrini College women's soccer team extended its winning streak to five matches with today's 3-0 win at the College of Notre Dame (Md.). The Cavaliers improve to 8-4-1 overall and 6-1 in the CSAC.
The Blue and White displayed its superior offensive fire power throughout the match, evidenced by a 19-7 shot advantage and 11 corner kicks to Notre Dame's zero. Two of those corner kicks resulted in Cabrini goals.

Kara Hinkelmon and
Sammy Thompson connected on the first goal in the 14th minute as Hinkelmon's corner kick service found Thompson's head. Thompson redirected the ball for her fourth goal of the year.
In the 35th minute, Hinkelmon accomplished the rare feat of scoring on her corner kick service.
Though not off a corner kick, Hinkelmon scored her second goal of the day in the 66th minute off the rebound of a shot by junior
Dana Drake. The tally was Hinkelmon's fifth of the season.

Maddy Edwards recorded three saves for her sixth shutout of the season.
The Cavaliers will welcome the Gwynedd-Mercy College Griffins to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
