RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini College women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to a six games with today's hard fought 0-0 tie with the visiting Gwynedd-Mercy College Griffins.  The Cavaliers now stand at 8-4-2 overall and 6-1-1 in the CSAC.

Through the entire 110 minutes of end to end action, both teams tried to create solid scoring chances, but both defenses were up to the task.

The Cavaliers had a clear advantage in scoring chances throughout the match, but could not convert their chances into goals.

Cabrini maintained a 7-2 advantage in shots during the first half and continued to get shots throughout regulation and the overtime periods.  By the end of the match, the Cavaliers outshot the Griffins 19-7.

The Blue and White's offensive pressure also created 13 corner kicks to Gwynedd-Mercy's two.

Senior Kara Hinkelmon and freshman Melissa Scanzano led the Cavaliers with four shots each.

Junior goalkeeper Maddy Edwards tallied two saves in recording her eighth shutout of the season.

The Cavaliers will host Immaculata University on Wednesday, October 19 for Senior Day at Edith Robb Dixon Field.  The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
