Volleyball Wins 2 at Cedar Crest Triangular

ALLENTOWN, Pa. –
The Cabrini College volleyball team improved to 16-9 overall and 7-0 in the CSAC with two wins today at Cedar Crest College.  The Cavaliers defeated Cedar Crest and Wesley Colleges by matching 3-0 scores.  They have now won nine of their last 10 matches.

The Cavaliers opened the day with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-17 CSAC win over host Cedar Crest College. 

Senior Alexis Doss was the offensive star for the Cavaliers, recording 16 kills on 28 attempts.   Sophomore Alaina Clark tallied 28 of Cabrini's 35 assists in the match.  Sophomore Sophia Sokolovich notch 15 digs in the win.

Cabrini then faced Wesley College in the Cavaliers' second match of the day.  For the second time this season, the Blue and White swept the Wolverines 3-0, this time with scores of 25-10-25-16, and 25-10.

Junior Danielle Carrozza carried the Cabrini offense in the nightcap, recording 15 kills.  Clark and Sokolovich added 30 assists and 10 digs, respectively.  Sophomore Kristy Riley notched four service aces in the win. 

The Cavaliers will travel to Hackettstown, N.J. on Tuesday to face Centenary College at 7:00 p.m.
