RADNOR, Pa. –
Though it took longer than expected, the Cabrini College women's soccer team got its scoring touch back today, defeating the visiting Immaculata University Mighty Macs 3-0 on Senior Day at Edith Robb Dixon Field.  The Cavaliers are now unbeaten in their last seven matches.

There was a lot riding on today's game for the Blue and White.  Not only was Cabrini celebrating the final regular season home game for seniors Kara Hinkelmon, Michelle Kane, Amy Loesser and Sammy Thompson, but the Cavaliers were looking to exact a little revenge.  It was Immaculata that ended the Cavaliers CSAC tournament last season after a marathon semifinal game that included a 26 penalty kick shootout.

Coming into the game, the Cavaliers had not found the net in over 114 minutes.  That drought reached over 167 minutes before junior Alex Tralie finally put Cabrini on the score sheet.   Freshmen Devon Miller drove the ball into the right corner before finding Tralie with a cross.  The junior volleyed the ball into the net for her fourth goal of the season.

In the 68th minute, Hinkelmon tallied her sixth goal of the season off a direct kick.  Hinkelmon took a left footed shot from about 25 yards out that found the far top corner of the Mighty Macs net.

Ten minutes later, Thompson and her younger sister Brianna Thompson connected for Cabrini's final tally of the day.  Brianna played a long cross into the Immaculata penalty area that connected with Sammy's run.  The elder Thompson headed the ball past the Mighty Macs keeper for her fifth goal of the season.

Over their four years, Cabrini's senior class has amassed 47 wins and combined for 54 goals and 32 assists.  The ladies also helped Cabrini to the 2009 CSAC Tournament Championship.

The Cavaliers (9-4-2, 7-1-1 CSAC) will travel to Marywood University on Saturday to face the Pacers at 1:30 p.m.
