RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College volleyball team extended its current win streak to six games with tonight's straight set win over the visiting Gwynedd-Mercy College Griffins. The Cavaliers have now won 11 of their last 12 matches and remain undefeated in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC).
The Cavaliers were dominant in taking the match 25-11, 25-11, 25-16. The Blue and White used a balanced offense and a solid service game to secure the victory.
Junior
Danielle Carrozza recorded a game-high 15 kills. Senior
Alexis Doss and sophomore
Michele Fitz added nine kills apiece. Sophomore setter
Alaina Clark tallied 38 assists.
Sophomore libero
Sophia Sokolovich had 22 digs, while Carrozza and sophomore
Kristy Riley chipped in with eight digs each.
Cabrini also added nine service aces in the win.
The Cavaliers (18-9, 9-0 CSAC) will welcome Immaculata University to Nerney Field House on Saturday. First serve is
scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
