ST. DAVID'S, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's soccer team suffered its first defeat of 2011 today with a 3-1 loss at Eastern University.  The loss dropped the Cavaliers to 1-1-1 on the season.

Cabrini senior Kara Hinkelmon notched the Cavaliers ' goal in the 30th minute of play, giving the Blue and White a 1-0 advantage at halftime.  Unfortunately, it was the only shot the Cavaliers would take during the game.

The Eagles responded with three goals after the break for the win.

Junior goaltender Maddy Edwards recorded eight saves in the loss.

The Cavaliers will travel to Allentown, Pa. on Friday to face Cedar Crest College in Cabrini's CSAC opener.
