RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's soccer team dropped their first regular season home game in over two years today, falling 2-0 to Swarthmore College. The Cavaliers had gone 15-0-1 in the regular season at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
The Blue and White had difficulty mounting a sustained offensive push in the first half and could only muster three shots. Conversely, the Garnet managed to put five shots on goal, connecting on two to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
In the second half, the Cavaliers continued to try to control try and push the offense. Unfortunately, they failed to make a dent in Swarthmore's scoreboard advantage.

Maddy Edwards recorded 10 saves for Cabrini.
Cabrini's last loss was September 26, 2009, a 4-2 loss to Marywood University.
Cabrini will try to return to the pitch on Thursday when they host Washington College. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
