RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College volleyball team posted its second consecutive dominant performance with tonight's 3-0 win over Keystone College on its annual Dig Pink Night.   The victory improves Cabrini to 15-5 overall and 8-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

The Cavaliers controlled the match from the service line as they tied a season high with 11 service aces to overpower the Giants 25-10, 25-15, 25-8.

From the opening serve the Blue and White took control of the match.  Freshman Cassidy Koenig stepped to the line for the second serve of the match and didn't step away until Cabrini led 6-1.  Points on four serves by junior Alaina Clark and seven on serves by senior Danielle Carrozza put the first set out of reach for Keystone.

The early stages of the second set were very close as the teams were tied at seven.  The Cavaliers took advantage of a Keystone service error and consecutive Carrozza service aces.  Minutes later, the Blue and White built a 13-7 lead it would not relinquish.

The Giants scored the opening two points in the third set before Koenig returned to the service line and took control of the set.  The rookie served the Cavaliers to nine consecutive points, including a trio of service aces, to give Cabrini a 10-2 lead.  Leading 16-6, Cabrini scored nine of the final 11 points on five Clark serves and the final four by Carrozza.

Carrozza led the offensive attack with nine kills.  Senior Meg Ryan added seven and freshman Jen Grenauer six.  Junior Sophia Sokolovich posted 12 digs, while
Carrozza and Clark added seven each.  Koenig added 23 assists to her season high six service aces.

The Cavaliers joined hundreds of middle school, high school and college teams around the country in The Side-Out Foundation's Dig Pink campaign to rasie money adn awareness for the fight against breast cancer.  The Blue and White wore pink warm-ups, jerseys and shoe laces through the match. All proceeds from pink ribbon sales and other donations will donated to charity.

The Cavaliers will step out of conference on Wednesday as they travel down the Main Line to face Haverford College.  First serve is scheduled for 7:00p.m. at Haverford's Calvin Gooding Arena.
