TOWSON, Md. – The Cabrini College volleyball team rebounded from a pair of opening day losses to even their record at 2-2 after the Greg “Gio” Giovanazzi Memorial Tournament at Goucher College. The Cavaliers opened the event with losses to John Hopkins University and Hiram College before topping Goucher and DeSales University today to finish 5th at the event.
The Blue and White opened the tournament yesterday with a 3-1 loss to Johns Hopkins. Cabrini took the opening game 25-19 before dropping the next three 25-23, 25-13 and 25-17. Freshman

In the nightcap, Hiram swept the Blue and White 25-21, 25-23 and 25-13. Ryan and Grenauer combined for 13 kills, while Koenig added 22 assists.
Cabrini secured its first victory with a 25-8, 25-16, 25-23 win over the host Goucher College on Sunday morning. The Cavaliers displayed a dominant offensive performance from the trio of Ryan, junior

Molly Fox. The group combined for 24 of Cabrini's 35 kills in the win.
The Cavaliers secured fifth place in the tournament with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-15) win over DeSales University.
Sokolovich was named to the All-Tournament team after recording 83 digs through the first three games of the event.
The Blue and White will travel to Bethlehem, Pa. on Wednesday where they will face Moravian College (4-0). The action is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Moravian's Johnson Hall.
