RADNOR, Pa. – After 110 minutes of action, the scoreboard remained where it started as the Cabrini College women's soccer team and the Marywood University Pacers battled to a 0-0 tie at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

Fans could see from the first half of action that two evenly matched teams took the pitch.  The teams combined for 10 shots before halftime, but both goaltenders were up to the task, totaling five saves between them.

After the break, the Cabrini offense was in attack mode. The Blue and White blasted 12 shots in the second half, forcing Marywood goaltender Victoria Pezdirtz to make eight second half saves.

Neither team could really get the momentum in the two overtime periods, as the clubs totaled just 3 shots.  On the day, the Blue and White outshot the Pacers 20-7, including a 13-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Sophomore Melissa Scanzano led the Cavaliers with seven shots, including five shots on goal.  Senior goaltender Maddy Edwards recorded three saves for her 19th career shutout of the season.

The Cavaliers will return to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Tuesday, September 25 when they host Rosemont College.  The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
