Volleyball Extends Win Streak to 7 Matches

IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Cabrini College volleyball team continued its run of solid play with tonight's 3-0 win at Immaculata University.

The victory extended the Cavaliers' current win streak to seven matches and improved its record to 9-4 overall and 2-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

The Blue and White dominated the match from the first serve, posting 25-18, 25-13, 25-16 victories.

Senior Danielle Carrozza recorded her first double-double of the season, recording a match-high 11 kills and 10 digs. Fellow senior Meg Ryan added nine kills for the Blue and White.

Junior libero Sophia Sokolovich anchored Cabrini's defense with 13 digs, while junior Michele Fitz recorded a pair of blocks. Freshman setter Cassidy Koenig controlled Cabrini's attack with 24 assists.

The Cavaliers will travel to Scranton, Pa. on Thursday to face Marywood University. The CSAC match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
