SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Cabrini College women's soccer team stepped out of Colonial States Athletic Conference play tonight, losing 4-1 at Swarthmore College. The loss drops the Cavaliers to 2-5-1 on the season.
The Cavaliers fell behind early as Swarthmore's Emma Sindelar netted two goals in the game's opening 15 minutes. Rehana Omardeen extended Swarthmore's lead to 3-0 just minutes before the halftime break.

Bree Thompson on a corner kick before Thompson netted her first career goal.
The Garnet sealed the victory in the 64th minute when Melissa Trofa and Aly Passanante worked a two-on-one breakaway for Trofa's second goal of the season.
Cabrini mustered just seven shots, including four by Thompson, to Swarthmore's 19. Junior goaltender
Maddy Edwards recorded six saves in the loss.
The Blue and White will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Gwynedd, Pa. to face Gwynedd-Mercy College. The CSAC match is slated to begin at 12:00 p.m.
