RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to five matches with today's 7-0 win over the visiting Keystone College Giants at Edith Robb Dixon Field.  The victory improves the Cavaliers to 4-1-3 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play and 6-3-4 overall.

Today's match also marked the progam's annual Play fof the Cure game to benefit the fight against breast cancer.  The ladies wore pink warm-up t-shirts and pink socks for the match.  Donations and proceeds from today's 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Cooper led the Blue and White with her first career hat trick, while four other ladies also found the net.  Senior MaryKate McCann tallied her first two career assists in the win.

The Cavaliers pressures the Giants from the opening whistle, earning their first corner kick less than three minutes into the game.  On their second corner kick opportunity, junior Gabby Meck found fellow junior Melissa Scanzano for a volley into the far post for the game's first goal.

In the 18th minute, senior Bree Thompson found Cooper who fired a shot just inside the right post for her first goal of the day.  Sophomore Devon Miller notched the scoring column in the 31st minute when she dribbled through Keystone's defense and beat the goaltender.

Cabrini did not rest on its 3-0 halftime lead as it continued to play its game after the break.  In the 54th minute, junior Kaitlin Zisa's direct kick found fellow sophomore Dana Peterson who split two defenders for her team-leading sixth goal of the year.

In the 56th minute, McCann corralled a loose ball in the Keystone penalty area and found Cooper alone for her second tally of the day.  Just over two minutes later, the connection paid off again as Cooper converted a McCann pass into her hat trick.  Cabrini's final goal came less than 20 seconds later as a Scanzano pass sprung sophomore Julianna Ardire for her first goal of the season.

The Cavaliers outshot Keystone 19-5 and held the Giants without a shot on goal.  Cooper tallied five shots, while Scanzano added four.  Freshman goaltender Marissa Jenkins recorded the fourth shutout of her young career.

Goaltenders Katelyn Coon and Shelby Divers combined for six saves for Keystone (9-3-1, 4-3-1 CSAC).

The Blue and White will return to action on Wednesday when they welcome Immaculata University (4-6-2, 3-0-2) to Edith Robb Dixon Field.  Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
