GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Cabrini women's soccer team suffered its second consecutive loss today, falling short at Arcadia University 5-0.  The nonconference loss drops the Cavaliers to 1-2-2 on the season.

After keeping the score sheet clean for the game's first 21 minutes, the Blue and White surrendered a pair of the goals in the 22nd and 32nd minutes. The Knights added goals in the 49th, 76th and 85th minutes.

"Arcadia played with a tremendous amount of energy for the full 90 minutes today," said head coach Ken Prothero.  "Though we were down four starters, I think we would have had trouble with them with our complete roster.  We will certainly learn from this and get back to work on Monday.'

Juniors Gabby Meck and Bree Thompson joined sophomore Meghan Martin with two of Cabrini's 11 shots on the game.  

Sophomore goaltender Brianna McGrory recorded a career high six saves in the Cavaliers' net.

Kim Canfield led Arcadia (3-0-2) with two goals on the day.

The Blue and White will return to action on Tuesday when they host Bryn Mawr College (1-4) at Edith Robb Dixon Field.  Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
