RADNOR, Pa. – After two consecutive losses, the Cabrini women's soccer team rebounded, topping Bryn Mawr College 2-0 today at Edith Robb Dixon Field. The victory improves the Cavaliers to 2-2-2.
Despite owning a 10-2 advantage in first half shots, Cabrini could not find its scoring combination as the teams remained scoreless after 45 minutes. The Blue and White didn't waste much time after the break, snapping its scoreless drought.
Three minutes into the second stanza, sophomore
Dana Peterson appeared to play the ball back into the penalty area but the ball continued to sail over the Bryn Mawr goaltender into the left side of the net. Noelle DiCioccio on a corner kick. DiCioccio's shot ricocheted off the cross bar right to sophomore
Devon Miller who deposited the ball into the back of the net for her first goal of 2013.
