Box Score 2 HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Cabrini volleyball team improved to 12-5 today, as it scored a pair of convincing 3-0 wins at the Centenary College tri-match.
The Cavaliers topped the host Cyclones 25-6, 25-10, 25-12 to extend its CSAC win streak to 29 matches before posting a 25-11, 25-14, 25-12 nonconference win over Pratt Institute.
Sophomores
Nicole Sokolovich led the Cavaliers with 10 kills, while classmate
Chelsea Jones added eight kills. Senior
Cassidy Koenig paired 29 assists and seven digs, while freshman
Emily Shannon recorded seven digs and three service aces.
The Blue and White continued its dominance in the nightcap, committing just eight errors in its 60 total attacks.
Senior
Christine Ingargiola paced the club with eight kills, while fellow senior
Jen Grenauer added five.
Koenig totaled 27 assists, while fellow senior
Harlee Scanlan and sophomore
Kaylee Plisinski notched four service aces. Sokolovich posted a team-high eight digs, one more than Jones.
The Cavaliers will host a tri-match of its own on Tuesday, as Marywood University (2-13, 2-2 CSAC) and Rosemont College (1-12, 1-3 CSAC) visit Nerney Field House.
The Cavaliers will open the night against Marywood at 5 p.m. with Marywood and Rosemont taking the floor at 7 p.m. Cabrini and Rosemont will close the night, starting at 9 p.m.
