Last Meeting: William Paterson 73, Cabrini 70 (12/1/95)
Tuesday's game between Cabrini and William Paterson will mark just the third time the two teams have faced each other and first time this millennium. The Pioneers hold a 2-0 advantage in the series as they captured a 73-70 victory the last time out in 1995.
The first meeting between the two teams came just a season earlier, yet still in the same calender year, as the Cavs met the Pioneers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 1st, 1995. William Paterson played spoiler to the Cavs season as they handed the Blue and White 82-41 loss.

The visiting Cavs put those free throws to good use, converting on 18-of-25 attempts, giving them a needed boost offensively as they shot just 33.3% from the field.
William Paterson Last Time Out: Turnovers loom in 79-58 loss to Staten Island (12/12/17)
Senior Tori Woetzel collected her second consecutive double-double, but turnovers plagued the William Paterson women's basketball team in a 79-58 defeat at Staten Island. Woetzel netted a career-best 21 points on 8-of-14 (.571) shooting and also hauled in 10 rebounds.
The difference came in ball control and free-throw shooting, as the Pioneers committed 41 turnovers to just 20 by the Dolphins, leading to a 39-11 edge in points off turnovers for the home squad. At the charity stripe, Staten Island made 23 of 32 attempts while the Pioneers went 12-for-16.
Staten Island's defense smothered the Pioneers to begin the second half, forcing nine turnovers in the opening six minutes to extend its lead to 47-36. The Pioneers came within eight points in the third (54-46, 1:10), but a 15-1 burst by the Dolphins late put the game out of reach.
