Last Meeting: Cavs edge Pacers by 74-69 final (1/21/18)
Freshman Lexi Edwards exploded for a career high 31 points in the win, marking her fourth consecutive game with at least 10 points. Classmate Kate Lannon was the only other Cavalier to reach double digits as the freshman finished with 10 points, four rebounds, four blocks and three assists in 16 minutes of action.

Junior Nomi Washington led the team with six assists, while also adding nine points. Junior Sabrina Hackendorn finished with a team high eight rebounds and chipped in eight points.

After a tightly contested first half, the Blue and White managed to put just enough distance on the scoreboard between themselves and the Pacers during the third quarter, courtesy of four three pointers coming off the hands of Edwards, Lannon (x2), and fellow rookie Kate King, as they extended their lead to 10 points at 56-46.

The Cavs opened up a game high 14 point lead with seven minutes left in the final stanza off a jumper from Washington before the Pacers mounted a furious comeback attempt. Sparked by a three from senior Lisa Steakin, Marywood rattled off an 18-to-6 run that spanned nearly six minutes to claw to within two points with just 56 seconds left. As they have done so well this year though, the Blue and White converted on 6-8 late free thrown attempts to secure the conference victory.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cavs roll in 77-38 victory over Defenders (2/17/18)
A trio of Cavs tallied double digit points, led by senior Kate Skalski's 18 points in 18 minutes. Classmate Sabrina Hackendorn and freshman Kate Lannon finished with 10 points each, with Lannon chipping in four boards as well. Junior Nomi Washington added nine points and four rebounds, while senior Caroline Price finished with a game high six assists.

The Cavaliers' wire to wire victory got off to a fast start as they jumped out to a 12-4 lead over the games first nine minutes. A pair of free throws from Washington followed by a trey from Skalski with nine seconds left capped a 17-4 first quarter run.

Cabrini added 24 points in the third quarter and 18 in the fourth to balloon the lead to a game high 44 points in the game's waning moments. Clarks Summit closed the game with a 5-to-0 run for the 77-38 final.

All told, the Cavs shot a blistering 51.9% (28-of-54) from the field, marking a new season high, and 40% (10-of-25) from down town, while holding the Defenders to just 22% (11-of-50).

Marywood Last Time Out: Pacers tame Cyclones 81-69 to advance to CSAC semifinal (2/19/18)
Five players reached double figures for the Pacers. Junior Gab Giordano led the team with 19 points, moving her into 12th all-time in school history, while rookie Aryah Aungst had a lights-out performance with 17 points, seven rebounds and four 3-pointers. Junior Alyssa Olson matched her with 17 points and eight rebounds.

After a hotly contested first quarter, the Pacers hit a lull that started a five-minute drought without a field goal. The Cyclones took advantage with a 12-point run to grab a 26-17 lead with just over five minutes left in the half. Marywood responded with a 13-2 run over the final three minutes of the half to reclaim the lead, 33-30, with just 30 second left in the half.

After leading by as many as 14 (74-60) in the fourth quarter, Centenary made one last charge in the final minutes. A Cyclone layup trimmed the Pacers' lead to eight with 2:05, but Aungst drilled a late three to end the hopes of a Centenary comeback.
