Last Meeting: Cavaliers cruised to a 3-0 road win (10/14/2017, Haverford, PA)
Cabrini scored its sixth consecutive win with a 25-20, 25-9, 25-20 win at Haverford.

Seven Cavaliers posted between two and nine kills, with sophomore Steph Judkins notching a team high nine to go with 11 digs. Senior Emily Shannon led the defense with 13 digs, while classmate Ashley Shannon chipped in with nine.

Junior Sara Matsumura paced the Fords with 12 kills and 14 digs, both team highs. Sophomore Claire Nicholas chipped in with nine digs.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cavaliers split 2 matches at Messiah Tri-Match (9/8/18, Grantham, PA)
The Blue and White dropped a tough five setter to host Messiah (19-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-21, 15-7) before rolling to a 3-0 win over Houghton College (25-13, 25-17, 25-23) on Saturday.

Judkins led the Cavaliers in the opener with a monster double-double, pairing a career best 28 kills and 15 digs. Freshman Amelia Ballard added her first career double-double, tallying 17 assists, 13 digs and a pair of service aces. Ashley Shannon anchored the defense with a match-high 31 digs.

Judkins added her second double-double of the day in the night cap, posting 11 kills and 12 digs in the Cavaliers' first win of the season. Ballard just fell short of the mark, notching 19 assists and eight digs. Emily Shannon stuffed the stat sheet with a team-high 16 digs, six kills, three assists, and three service aces.

Haverford Last Time Out: Fords go 1-2 at York College Spartan Invitational (9/7-8/2018, York, PA)
The Fords fell to the host Spartans 3-0 on Friday, before splitting a pair of matches on Saturday. Haverford succumbed to NYU 3-1 and scored a 3-0 win over Gallaudet in the nightcap.

Five Fords recorded at least six kills in the loss to NYU, with junior Julia Gallagher-Teske and freshman Caroline Baldwin posting 11 each. Matsumura anchored the defensive effort with 16 digs, five more than freshman Elena Filograna.

Senior Natalie Pisch led the way in the nightcap with 12 kills and six digs. Matsumura paired nine kills with 13 digs, while Filograna earned match-high honors with 16 digs. Freshman setter Sara Hunsberger added 30 assists to her 37 from the opener.
