The Cavs have faced the Red Hawks just two times in program history, both resulting in a loss for the Blue and White, with the last meeting coming on Monday, October 2, 2000.
The first meeting between the two teams was a year prior on October 2, 1999, which also resulted in a 2-0 loss for the Cavaliers.

Lindsey Armanini tallied the game winner off a corner for her first career goal with just over a minute to play in the first overtime period.
In total, the Cavalier offense held a 21-9 advantage in shots, including an 11-3 advantage in shots on goal, as they controlled much of the action. Cabrini also fell just one corner shy of matching their season high as they finished with 18 on the night.

Following a scoreless first half, the Lions' Taylor Perkowsi, who attempted a game high five shots, opened the scoring just 40 seconds into the second stanza to hand the hosts the 1-0 advantage.
The score would stand into the 83rd minute until Wood tallied the unassisted equalizer to knot things at one apiece, ultimately giving way to overtime.
The Cavs controlled the OT period as they attempted three shots, while holding the Lions' to none. As mentioned, Armaninni delivered the game winner in the 98th minute off a corner to lift the Cavs past Abington.
Montclair St. Last Time Out: Montclair St. 3, Rutgers-Newark 0 (10/4/19, Rutgers, NJ)
The Red Hawks saw their seven match unbeaten streak come to an end on Tuesday with a 2-1 loss to DeSales, but Montclair State rallied to score 3-0 win at Rutgers-Newark in NJAC action.
Freshman Tori Rolls provided the offense for the visitors, as the rookie scored all three goals on a team high four shots.
The rookie opened the scoring in the 29th minute, as she drove the right flank before heading to the net for the day's first goal.
The score remained 1-0 until Rolls struck again in the 59th, when Rolls' chip from the right side beat the Rutgers-Newark goaltender, finding the back of the net.
The freshman added an insurance goal in the 68th minute, converting a pass from classmate Mackenzie Cangro.
The Red Hawks outshot Rutgers-Newark 14-10 and earned five corner kicks to just a pair for the home side. Senior Emily Beenders recorded three shots, one more than sophomore Emily DeGeyter and freshman Samantha Senatore.
Junior goaltender Phoebe Bledsoe tallied five saves to earn fourth shoutout of the season.
