What's at Stake
The winner of today's matchup will advance to the Atlantic East Conference Championship game on Saturday, November 9th where they'll take on the winner between No. 4 Immaculata and No. 1 Marywood. The highest remaining seed will serve as the host for Saturday's Championship.

Last Meetingt: Wesley 2, Cabrini 1 (10/16/19, Dover, DE)
The Cavs offense was led by senior Maddy Wojton who tallied her second goal of the year, as well as junior Maria Hagan and sophomore Kait Cloud who tied with a team high three shots each. Veteran Katelyn Gilinger added to her team high assist total with her seventh of the season.

Overall, the Blue and White held an 11-7 advantage in shots, including a 9-5 advantage in shots on goal, while also holding a 4-1 edge in corner kicks.

Cabrini opened the scoring in the 26th minute on Wojton's aforementioned goal. The senior took a pass from Gilinger and pushed it past Wesley's Kiyanna Gill for the 1-0 advantage.

The score would hold steady into the 70th minute until Wesley's Allison Backert found Kaitlyn Roazzi for the equalizer. Just seven minutes later the Wolverines would add another goal, this time off the foot of Emily Caldarelli, for the 2-1 advantage.

The Cavs would apply late pressure as they attempted three shots in the games final 10 minutes of play, but Gill and Wesley would hang on for the eventual 2-1 final.

Last Time Out: Cabrini 2, Marymount 0 (AEC Quarterfinal, 11/2/19, Radnor, PA)
The Cabrini women's soccer team used a pair of second half goals from senior Diana VanSickle to edge the No. 6 seeded Marymount Saints 2-0 in last Saturday's Atlantic East Conference (AEC) Quarterfinal.

VanSickle paced an aggressive Blue and White attack with five shots, while classmate Katelyn Gilinger and junior Maria Hagan tallied four shots each. In total, Cabrini finished with a commanding 30-10 advantage in shots, including a 14-2 mark in shots on goal.

Following a scoreless first half, VanSickle opened the scoring in the 47th minute off a well timed touch pass from Gilinger from just outside the six yard box. VanSickle delivered the ball to the lower left corner of the goal, past the arms of Marymount's Maia Pappadakis.

Cabrini wasted little time adding to its lead as just five minutes later VanSickle found the back of the net again. A through ball from junior Brianna Blair split the defense and sent VanSickle on a break away. The veteran corralled the ball and side stepped to the right just before a charging Pappadakis could secure it and shot on an open goal from 20 yards out.

The Saints, who were now forced to play catchup, attempted nine shots in the ensuing 35 minutes of play only to be denied by keeper Ashley Tutzauer. The junior ended with a pair of saves en route to her eighth shutout of the season to anchor an impressive day from the Blue and White defense.

Scouting the Wolverines
Wesley enters today's game as the No. 2 seed in the AEC Tournament thanks to a conference record of 5-1, including a head-to-head win over the Cavaliers earlier in the season.

Offensively, the Wolverines have been incredibly efficient as they've tallied 33 goals on just 166 shots, for an average of roughly one goal every five shots. Their 1.94 goals per game rank third best in the conference, while their 166 shots stand as the second fewest.

The Wolverines offensive attack runs through senior Mackenzie Forsyth and junior Emily Caldarelli. The pair have combined for 21 of Wesley's 33 goals scored. Forsythe currently leads the team with 12 goals, 29 points, 44 shots and four game winning goals, while Caldarelli's nine assists serve as a team high.

Defensively, the Wolverines rank as the league's second best unit behind Cabrini, as they've limited opponents to just one goal per game. Sophomore netminder Kiyanna Gill has statistically been the AEC's top goalkeeper, boasting a conference best .849 save percentage and 73 saves.
