JuniorÂ
Meghan Matthews led the charge with a team and season high 22 points, as well as eight rebounds and four assists in just 25 minutes of action. SophomoreÂ
Ashley Tutzauer was right behind with 21 points, including five rebounds, five assists and five steals.Â

Nomi Washington and sophomoreÂ
Lexi Edwards rounded out the Cavs in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively. SophomoreÂ
Caitlin King continued to be an effective distributor as she tallied a game high six assists.Â
The offense got off to a blazing start as they opened the game on a 10-to-2 run, highlighted by a pair of triples from Washington and Edwards.
The Knights responded with a 7-to-2 run of their own to pull back to within three points with 5:32 left in the first, but a pair of free throws from seniorÂ
Gaby Jones, followed by back-to-back layups from Tutzauer and Matthews, pushed the Cabrini lead back to 18-11. The trio of baskets sparked a 16-to-6 Cavalier run to end the quarter.Â
The strong opening quarter for the Blue and White was key as the Knights inched closer over the second and third quarter, pulling to within seven points just before the end of the third.Â
That is as close as Neumann would come, however thanks to a 14-to-2 run to start the final stanza. In total, the Cavaliers would outscore the Knights 25-13 over the final 10 minutes en route to a comfortable 89-68 victory.Â

Despite being down 6-to-8 midway through the opening stanza, the Cavaliers ended the quarter leading 20-13 thanks to a 14-to-5 run. A jumper from Washington sparked the run, while back-to-back layups from Searcy shifted the momentum in the Cavs' favor.Â
