Last Meeting: Cabrini 50, Marymount 66 (2/16/19, Arlington, VA)
Sophomore Kate Lannon led the offense with a team high 13 points, while Ashley Tutzauer was right behind her classmate with 12 points. Junior Meghan Matthews added six points and four rebounds, but was limited to just 16 minutes due to foul trouble.

The Blue and White got off to a slow start as the Marymount defense limited the Cavs to just 2-for-11 from the field in the opening 10 minutes. The slow start resulted in an early 12-5 deficit after one quarter of play.

A Tutzauer three early in the second quarter briefly trimmed the Saints' lead to 13-8, but an 8-to-4 response from Marymount pushed the Saints' lead to 21-12. Marymount's Katie McShea and Tyffani McQueen delivered back-to-back triples with under a minute left in the half to give the Saints an eventual 31-16 lead at the break.

The second half featured a more balanced offensive attack from the Blue and White, highlighted by a 47 percent mark from the field in the fourth quarter, but the Marymount attack continued its' consistent play. The Saints shot a combined 48 percent from the field in the second half and committed just six turnovers to the Cavaliers' nine.

The turnaround wouldn't be enough, unfortunately as Marymount was able to fend off the late Cavalier charge for the eventual 66-50 victory.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cabrini 78, Marywood 68 (2/21/19, Radnor, PA)
The Blue and White faced an early hole thanks to a 11-to-4 opening run from the visiting Pacers, but a jumper from freshman Kirsten Searcy followed by an and-one from Washington swung momentum back in favor of the Cavs as they cut their deficit to 13-9.

A pair of layups from Washington followed by a lay in from senior Gaby Jones trimmed the Marywood lead to just one at 16-15 with 2:01 left in the quarter. Cabrini would take their first lead of the game with just over 30 seconds to play in the opening stanza thanks to a pair of free throws from Washington.

Following a triple off the hand of Matthews to give Cabrini a three point lead at 22-19 early in the second quarter, the Pacers reeled off an 8-to-0 run to regain control. Marywood would push their lead to eight points thanks to a three from Marissa Fernandez, but a pair of free throws from Matthews followed by a Washington triple cut the Pacers lead to 37-34 heading into the intermission.

Unable to gain ground in the third quarter, the Blue and White went to work in the fourth. Following a deep three from Marywood's Alyssa Olson to open the quarter and make it a 54-48 Pacer advantage, the Cavs ripped off an 8-to-0 run, highlighted by back-to-back buckets from Washington.

After trading baskets for the ensuing five minutes and holding a slim 65-64 lead with 1:47 to play, Washington delivered her eighth steal of the game and placed a perfect outlet pass to Tutzauer who finished with a layup to push the Cavs' lead to 67-64.

After forcing a bad Pacers' shot on the next possession, Tutzauer nearly put the game away, but her deep three rimmed out with Marywood able to secure the rebound. Needing a three to tie, Marywood's Emily Theobald delivered just that with eight seconds on the clock to knot the game at 67 all and send the game to overtime.

The Blue and White rallied in the five minute overtime, however as they held the Pacer offense to 0-for-7 from the field and allowed just one point off a free throw. Sophomore Caitlin King delivered the dagger with 3:27 left thanks to a deep three from the top of the arc off an assist from Lannon.

Marymount Last Time Out: Marymount 56, Immaculata 35 (2/21/19, Arlington, VA)

Freshman Katie McShea and junior Regan Lohr got the Saints started with a layup and jumper, respectively, for a quick 4-0 lead. Defense was the key in the first quarter, as the Saints held a 10-1 lead after the first 10 minutes. The Marymount defense held the Mighty Macs without a field goal, while forcing six turnovers, to take command.

The Saints got the offense going to start the second, as McShea hit a layup, followed by a pair of free throws. Lohr and senior Abby Fisher hit back-to-back threes to keep it going to give Marymount a 20-7 lead. SeniorTyffani McQueen added a long-range make later in the quarter, as the Saints held a 29-9 lead at halftime.

At the break, the Saints were holding the Mighty Macs to only 18.2 percent from the field. After heating up in the second quarter, McShea led the team with eight points in the first half. McShea notched the first-five points for the Saints in the second half on two layups and a foul shot, on a three-point play, as Marymount continued to hold its lead. Two jumpers from junior Gabriella Haddad pushed the lead to 45-20 going into the fourth quarter.

Haddad added four more points in the final frame to lead the way to the win.

McShea paced the Saints with 16 points and 10 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season. Haddad added 12 points and eight rebounds.
