Last Meeting: Cabrini 91, Gwynedd Mercy 74 (1/27/2019, Radnor, PA)
Nomi Washington paced the Cavalier offense with a career high 31 points in 36 minutes. The guard added nine rebounds and four steals to match her play on the offensive end.
Senior

Following a near even first half in which the Cavaliers held a slim 36-35 lead at the break, the Blue and White found their offensive rhythm to start the third quarter. A triple from sophomore
Dani Tyrell jump started a 10-to-5 Cavalier run to open the third. A pair of layups from Edwards followed by an and-one from Washington highlighted the Cavalier spurt.
Trailing 50-40 with 6:13 left in the quarter, the Griffins responded with an 8-3 run to trim the Cavalier lead to five points. A triple from Edwards, however, swung momentum back in favor of the Blue and White as they ripped off a huge 19-to-4 run to end the quarter. In total, six different Cavaliers scored during the run, led by Searcy's seven points, while the Cabrini defense forced four turnovers.
Leading 72-52 to start the final stanza, the Cavs pushed their lead to a game high 23 points with 8:14 to play. The Griffins would not go down without a fight, however as they used a 19-to-4 run, fueled by their defense, to claw to within eight points with just over three minutes to play. The Gwynedd defense held the Blue and White without a field goal for nearly six minutes and forced eight consecutive missed shots during the run.
The eight point deficit is as close as the Griffins would come, however, as a layup from Matthews with 1:54 to play ended the drought and put the Cavs back up by 10. Cabrini would end the game on a 10-to-1 run to earn their sixth consecutive victory.
