The Cavaliers got significant contributions from the entire roster, as 15 players saw action with 12 marking the scoring column.
Junior
Kate Lannon led the Blue and White with a season high 23 points on 10-15 shooting in just 23 minutes of action. Classmate
Ashley Tutzauerhit 7-10 from the floor for 17 points. Senior
Meghan Matthews earned game high honors with 10 rebounds to go with a career best eight assists. Tutzauer and classmate
Lexi Edwards gathered five boards each, one more than Lannon.
The Blue and White ran out to an early lead, shooting nearly. 600 from the field in the opening stanza. The Cavaliers bookended the first quarter with matching 9-0 runs, building a commanding 26-7 lead after 10 minutes of action.
Defensively, Cabrini never allowed Neumann to find its offensive rhythm in the first quarter, holding the home team to just 3-13 shooting with five turnovers.
The Cavaliers kept the Knights off balance through the second quarter, cruising to a 36-23 halftime lead.
Cabrini extended its cushion in the third quarter, as it opened the second half with a 9-2 spurt to extend its lead to 46-25 with six minutes left in the third.
The Blue and White showed no let-up in the final period, despite entering the final period with a 56-37 advantage. Cabrini outscored Neumann 20-12, holding the Knights to just .273 shooting with six fourth quarter turnovers.

Offensively, the Cavs were led by senior
Meghan Matthews who totaled a game high 18 points in just 20 minutes of action. Junior
Ashley Tutzauer added 13 points and six rebounds, while classmates
Kate Lannon and
Lexi Edwards chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively.
After trading baskets the opening five minutes of the first quarter, the Blue and White rattled off a 7-0 run to take a 15-7 lead, highlighted by a three ball from Edwards. Immaculata would trim the Cavs' lead to 17-11 heading in to the second stanza.
The Cavs pushed their lead to eight points thanks to a jumper from Tutzauer with 7:39 left in the second, but an ensuing 13-2 run in favor of the hosts flipped the script as the Macs took a 26-23 lead heading into the intermission.
Cabrini quickly regained the lead coming out of the break as Matthews knocked down a three ball off an assist from Edwards and followed it up with a jumper from the shoulder for the 30-28 advantage. After trading baskets for the next four minutes, the Cavaliers used an 8-0 run to regain control, 43-33. Despite the momentum change, the Mighty Macs answered with a 10-6 spurt to climb back to within striking distance entering the fourth quarter.
The hosts would do their best to regain the lead, but clutch baskets from Tutzuer, Matthews and freshman
Dani Tyrell proved too much as the Cavs would hang on for the eventual 64-56 victory.
Neumann Last Time Out: Marywood 64, Neumann 47 (1/29/2020, Aston, PA)
Jaylin Ortiz led the Knights with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Terea Hunt added nine points and five steals.
Points were scarce over the first half as the action featured four lead changes and five tied scores. The Pacers and Knights went into the break knotted at 20.
Marywood sank the first basket of the third quarter and would not relinquish the lead the remainder of the game. A three-pointer by Neumann's Chelsea Keebler pulled the Knights to within two, 27-25, midway through the third quarter. Marywood then went on a 10-0 run for a 37-25 advantage. Neumann ended the quarter on a 10-2 run to trim their deficit to 39-35 heading into the final 10 stanza.
Over the first three minutes of the fourth quarter, Marywood went on an 11-2 run to increase its lead to 50-37. That run proved to be enough and the Pacers kept their double-digit lead and came away with the eventual victory.
