Cabrini seized control in the early going as they jumped out to a 26-11 lead midway through the first quarter. The Griffins answered with a 12-4 run to trim the Cavs' lead to seven heading into the second quarter.

The hosts carried their first quarter momentum into the ensuing frame as they outscored the Blue and White 28-17 in the second stanza. Gwynedd highlighted the quarter with an 18-5 run that spanned nearly five minutes of play, while their defense came alive to force five Cabrini turnovers.

Following a back and fourth third quarter that ended with the Griffins extending their lead to five points at 81-76, the Blue and White rallied in the clutch as they ultimately outscored Gwynedd 31-7.

A pair of free throws from Matthews kicked off the pivotal fourth quarter, while Tutzauer delivered the equalizer just 20 seconds later with a three pointer to knot things at 81 all. An Edwards' layup on the ensuing Cavalier possession handed the Cavs a lead they would not relinquish. They would push their lead to 11 points before a triple from Gwynedd's Denise Sacco stopped the bleeding with 6:38 left in the game.

Cabrini would go on to outscore the Griffins 15-4 over the final six minutes en route to the aforementioned 107-88 final.
