JERSEY CITY, NJ, -- The Cabrini University volleyball team was selected to participate in the 2022 ECAC Championship Tournament as the second-seeded Cavaliers square off against seventh-seeded Saint Vincent College on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. at host New Jersey City University.
Cabrini enters play on Saturday with a 20-12 overall record and comes off a 3-0 defeat to Marymount University in the Atlantic East Conference championship match back on Nov. 5.
Cabrini looks to bounce back from the AEC championship loss and take home the ECAC crown. The Cavs are led by AEC Player of the Year

Gina Custer. Dalton led the conference in kills (453) and points (515.5) while Custer led the conference in digs (606).
Saint Vincent enters play on Saturday with a 17-8 overall record as the Bearcats come off a 3-1 loss to Chatham in the PAC volleyball championship back on Nov. 1. The Bearcats are led offensively by outside hitters Kaelyn Staples and Luciana Polk while defensively, Stacie Ramos leads SVC with 461 digs.
Saturday's match between Cabrini and Saint Vincent will be the first time the two schools meet.
The winner of Saturday's match will face the winner of the other match in Pod 2 – third-seeded Grove-City College vs. sixth-seeded PSU-Behrend – on Sunday at noon.
In Pod 1, top-seeded Kean University squares off against eighth-seeded Brooklyn College while host and fourth-seeded NJCU takes on fifth-seeded FDU-Florham. The winners of the two matches in Pod 1 will play at 10 a.m. on Sunday with the winner advancing to the title match against the Pod 2 winner.
