RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini volleyball team is firing on all cylinders heading into the final stretch of its regular season and following a 3-0 victory against non-conference opponent Wesley College Wednesday night at Nerney Field House. The win is the Cavaliers' third during the 2009 season versus the Wolverines.

Cabrini notched a 3-1 victory against Wesley in its third match of the season September 4 at the Moravian College Tournament. Nine days following, the Cavaliers earned a 3-0 win against the Wolverines at the Swarthmore College Tournament.

The Blue & White offense set the tone again, boasting a .253 attack percentage and seven players with at least one kill. The Cavaliers have eclipsed the .250 hitting clip in 11 matches this season, including the last four.

Senior outside hitter Traci Beltz fueled the Cabrini attack with a team-best 10 kills on 21 attempts. She committed just two attack errors and also recorded three digs.

Junior middle Stephanie Recklau, the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) leader in attack percentage and ranked 12th in the latest national statistics release (Oct. 4), posted seven kills on 15 attempts versus one miscue. Recklau's hitting clip has ballooned to .415 in the last four matches.

Sophomore opposite Alexis Doss and sophomore middle Beth Gillespie added the Blue & White charge with five and four kills, respectively.

Senior setter Lizzie Williams, the reigning CSAC Player of the Week, notched 22 assists, five digs and three service aces.

Sophomore libero Courtney Abel led the Cabrini defense with 11 digs. She has reached double digits in digs in all but three matches in 2009.

The Cavaliers earned a 25-17 victory in game one before separating themselves from the Wolverines with a commanding 25-11 win in the second set. The Blue & White offense tallied a blistering .400 attack percentage in game two, recording12 kills on 25 tries with just two errors.

The Cavaliers clinched the victory, their fourth straight and 10th in the last 13 contests, with a 25-14 triumph in the third frame.

Cabrini (18-6, 7-0) will look to remain unbeaten against CSAC opponents when it travels to Cedar Crest College for a 1 p.m. match Saturday, October 17.
