No. 15 Men's Lacrosse Travels to Centenary College Saturday

Junior midfielder Matt Conaway is one point shy of reaching the 100-point plateau for his Cabrini career.

The No. 15 Cabrini men's lacrosse team continues its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) schedule Saturday, March 28 at Centenary College. Face-off is set for 3 p.m. against the Cyclones.

The Cavaliers opened the CSAC schedule with a comfortable 18-3 win against Gwynedd-Mercy College March 25. Cabrini extended its league win streak to 81 games, including the postseason tournament, against the Griffins. The Cavaliers have won 66 straight games in the regular season versus CSAC opponents.

Junior attackman Casey Grugan tallied eight points on five goals and three assists, extending his consecutive points streak to 46 games. Grugan has recorded at least eight points in 3-of-8 games this season.

Senior midfielder Matt Conaway notched four points on three goals and one assist. Conaway is just one point shy of becoming the 14th Cabrini men's lacrosse player all-time to reach the 100-point plateau for his career.

Senior attackman Scott Reimer added three points, burying two scores and dishing one assist. Freshman attackman Brian Hill tallied three goals.

Centenary College
The Centenary men's lacrosse team welcomes the Cavaliers to Hackettstown, N.J. following a 16-3 setback versus Kean University. The Cyclones have struggled to a 1-4 overall start.

Head coach Matt Klank is in his fifth season at Centenary in 2009. Klank led the Cyclones to a 5-3 league record and the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament in 2008. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at Drew University for four seasons.

Junior attackman Jason Reig has posted a team-best 14 points on eight goals and six assists this season.
Freshman Jonathan Agudo (7G) and senior attackman Travis Roy (6G, 1A) list second on team with seven points.

Agudo leads the team, scooping 18 groundballs. junior defender Geoff Ford (16) and senior midfielder Richard Brady (14) ranks second and third, respectively. Sophomore Joe Swantoski is the Cyclones top face-off performer, winning 54.1 percent of his attempts.

Senior goalkeeper Joe Troilo has started two games and appeared in five. He has tallied a 14.18 goals-against average and .541 saves percentage.

Cabrini owns a 1-0 record all-time against Centenary in a series that debuted in the 2008 season.
