The Cavaliers advanced to its 10th straight CSAC championship game with a convincing 19-2 win against No. 4 seed Gwynedd-Mercy College April 29. Junior attackman Casey Grugan and sophomore midfielder Paul Skulski each totaled six points in the win.

Grugan extended the nation's second-longest consecutive points streak to 54 games with a five-goal and one-assist performance. He is one assist shy of matching Athletic Hall of Fame honoree Tom Lemieux's (1999-02) single-season mark of 43 set in 2002..

Grugan, named the CSAC Player of the Year for the second straight season Wednesday, became the Cavaliers' single-season leader in points in Cabrini's 23-4 win against Marywood April 25.

Ninth-year head coach Steve Colfer received four points on four goals from CSAC First Team selection senior attackman Scott Reimer. Reimer, also the program leader in career goals, set the Cabrini career mark for points versus Marywood just six days ago.

As the Cavaliers earned 10-of-11 first-team all-conference selections, Colfer received his fifth career CSAC Coach of the Year Award Monday. He is a career 87-0 against CSAC opponents since the 2001 season.

Cabrini has played each of its nine conference title victories on its home turf. The Blue & White is 16-1 all-time in the CSAC Tournament, out-scoring its opponents 117-33 in championship games.

Marywood University (10-6)
Marywood holds a date with Cavaliers on the heels of a 12-8 victory against No. 3 Centenary College in the semifinal round of the CSAC Tournament April 29. Sophomore attackman Nick Parks paced the Pacers' offense, posting five points on three goals and two assists in the win.

Sophomore midfielder George Downey IV and (1G, 2A) and sophomore attackman William Roerden (2G, 1A) each tallied three points versus the Cyclones. Sophomore goalkeeper Eric Luhrman notched nine saves in the victory.

Marywood has won 8 of its last 10 games, including a run of seven straight victories. The Pacers met Cabrini in the regular season finale April 25 for a shot at the tournament's No. 1 seed.
