PHILADELPHIA – The Cabrini men's track & field team continued the outdoor portion of its 2009-10 schedule Saturday afternoon in the University of Pennsylvania Invitational at historic Franklin Field. Freshman Tyler Rooke was the lone Cavalier in action, competing in the 800m and 1500m runs.
Rooke finished 24th out of 34 participants in the 1500m run, crossing the tape in a season-best time of 4:20.66. He also ran the 1500m at last week's Danny Curran Invitational, clocking a time of 4:28.48.
Rooke listed 38th in the 800m run, also posting a season-best time of 2:10.45. He ran the 800m in 2:11.17 at last week's Danny Curran Invitational.
The Cavalier men's squad did not score in the team standings.
The Cabrini men and women's track & field teams return to the outdoor oval Friday, April 9 for the Rowan University Open.
