RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College field hockey team won its fourth consecutive game tonight, a 7-1 victory over the visiting Cedar Crest College Falcons. The win improves the Cavaliers to 8-4 overall and 3-1 in the CSAC.
Cabrini recorded its second highest scoring output of the season. The Cavaliers scored eight goals in an 8-0 win over Albright College on September 13.
Junior
Lindsey Atzert triggered the goal explosion in the 13th minute with an unassisted goal. In the next 5 minutes, the Cavaliers would have an insurmountable 3-0 lead. Freshman
Karlie Gruccio tallied her fifth goal of the year before Atzert scored her second of the night, assisted by Gruccio.
The Cavalier goals came in bunches in the 25th and 26th minutes when Atzert and Gruccio struck again. Atzert completed her hat trick in the 25th minute. Ninety seconds later, the rookie added her second goal of the night, sending Cabrini to the halftime break with a 5-0 lead. Both goals were assisted by senior
Lauren Alessi.
Freshmen Victoria Sahina and Victoria Canelli recorded their first collegiate goals after the break.

Vicky King combined in Cabrini's goal in the victory.
The Cavaliers maintained a 12-1 advantage in shots, including 10-1 in shots on goal, and 15 corners to Cedar Crest's four.
The Blue and White will travel to LaPlume, Pa. on Saturday to face Keystone College in a 2:00 p.m. CSAC mach.
