RADNOR, Pa. –
The Cabrini College field hockey team extended their win streak to three games with today's 1-0 CSAC win over the visiting Immaculata University Mighty Macs.  The win improves the Cavaliers to 2-0 in the CSAC and 4-3 overall.

The game was highlighted by one goal, but a very important goal.  Senior Lauren Alessi scored Cabrini's lone goal on a cross by junior Lindsey Atzert

The goal was the 42nd of Alessi's, but combined with her 16 career assists, this goal put the senior at 100 points for her career with the Cavaliers.

Alessi and fellow senior Stephanie Campanaro had two shots on goal each for Cabrini.  Sophomore Genevieve Paulin recorded her second shutout of the season.

The Cavaliers will put their three game streak on the line on Tuesday, September 27 when they travel to Dallas, Pa. to face Misericordia University.  The nonconference game will start at 4:00 p.m.
