RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's lacrosse team put on another dominating performance today asitcelebrated Senior Day 2012.  The Cavaliers posted a 24-5 win over Immaculata University, improving to 10-2 on the year and 4-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
In their final regular season appearance at Edith Robb Dixon Field, Cabrini's senior class of 
Joe Arrell, 
Brian Hill, 
John McSorley and 
Andrew Zelinski combined for five goals and three assists.     
Hill led the quartet with four goals and three assists.  Freshman 
Damian Sobieski also tallied five points, on two goals and three assists.
The Cavaliers wasted little time getting on the score board as freshman 
Anthony DiSanzo scored just 44 seconds into the game.  Hill tallied his first goal on the day at the 10:55 mark. 
Thirteen seconds later, junior 
Bobby Thorp found McSorley streaking through the crease for the senior's fifth career goal.
At the 8:11 mark, sophomore 
Bill McCabe scored his first goal of the year.  Thorp extended the Blue and White's lead to 5-0 with 6:16 to play in the opening period. 
On the ensuing faceoff, sophomore 
JoJo Cooper found Hill for Cabrini's second goal in a span of 10 seconds.
Minutes later, the Cavaliers struck quickly again, as freshman 
Andrew Layne and junior 
Brandon Dunn scored goals nine seconds apart.  After an Immaculata goal, Thorp found Hill with 45 seconds remaining in the period for a 9-1 lead.
The Cavaliers continued its solid play into the second period, outscoring the Mighty Macs 9-0. Freshman 
Mike Leyden scored his first of two on the day less than two minutes into the quarter.  Less than a minute later, Sobieski found junior 
J.T. Ervin for a score.
Sophomores 
Matt Biegel and Cooper got into the scoring column with goals 24 seconds apart.  Goals by Layne and sophomore 
Corey Elmer extended Cabrini's lead to 15-1 with 5:27 to play before the halftie break.
The Cavaliers posted three goals in the final two minutes of the half, as Leyden, Hill and Sobieski found the net, sending the Blue and White into the halftime break with an 18-1 lead.
Freshman 
Enrique Montoya tallied his fifth goal of the season just under three minutes into the second half.  After a Mighty Mac goal, Layne completed his hat trick.  Elmer's second of the day came with 7:48 to play in the period.
After Sobieski's second goal of the game, the Cavaliers finished the third quarter with a flurry.  Freshmen 
Kevin MacQuilliam and 
Zach Johnson found the net in the final 27 seconds of the third quarter.
The Cavaliers' offense got off to quick stars as the Blue and White won 26 of the game's 33 faceoffs, including 12 by freshman 
Anthony DiNenno.
The Cavaliers will close their regular season schedule on the road, beginning with next Saturday's game at Neumann University.  The action is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
